About Katarina

MY WORK

I have been an artist all my life and have lived to test my possibilities. I am happy and positive and always find new solutions and love to develop but will probably never be perfect. Right now I am a freelance visual artist.

I learned to play golf and then my goal was to make a Hio, when I succeeded I went on to new interests. For personal reasons, I was inspired to cook healthy food, read about diet and health and made a cookbook with colorful pictures taken by my daughter who is a photographer, Mathilda Blom. I have also had a wedding shop and have designed over 1000 dresses and have, among other things, designed the dress for the then Commander-in-Chief’s wife before the wedding between Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel. I have also designed dresses for professors and students for the Nobel party and other festivities and love fabrics, colors and design. Then I read Journalism and communication to be able to design websites, among other things I made my husband’s website and course portal. He is one of Sweden’s best broker coaches,

We also run a call center together and now we are studying Greek and will take the skipper’s degree together this spring.

The news for this year is that I will invite to workshops in my studio / pop up showroom in Old town Gallery Skiathos / Greece
